Run DMC are pioneers and rap music innovators. The band grouped in the early 1980's in the New York borough of Queens and since then, they have released a multitude of hit singles and multi-platinum albums which had a huge influence on the sound of contemporary music.

This is the only concert by Run DMC that is available as video on demand. Here Run (Joey Simmons), DMC (Darryl McDaniels) and Jam Master Jay (Jason Mizell) perform their classics: 'It's Like That', 'Walk This Way', 'It's Tricky' and 'King Of Rock' and more. This concert in Montreux in 2001 was one of the last shows of American hip hop pioneers Run DMC before the tragic death of Jam Master Jay in October, 2002.
