Mid-Shot
Ram Bhardwaj starts shooting “G2”, a film that explores the ideological divide between Mahatma Gandhi and his assassin, Nathuram Vinayak Godse. To the director's dismay, his film, still in the making, becomes a subject of controversy. Furthermore, a screening which distorts the filmmaker's version of the film leads to communal riots. Meanwhile, vested interests exert pressure on the director to ideologically slant the film.
This short explores how a movie about Mahatma Gandhi becomes an experiment with truth in Ram Bhardwaj's own life and the search of his inner self for answers.
