The two teenage girls are on vacation on their own – for the first time in their lives. With an InterRail ticket they travel to Rome, all excited and looking for adventure. During a stroll in the Italian capital, they meet an elderly man who tells them to be of aristocratic descent. First, he buys the two girls dinner in a fancy restaurant, then he manages to gain their trust by claiming to be gay and finally, he lures them into his home. There, he forces them to perform some acts that the girls were not expecting. Manipulation, excessive demands and powerlessness are the subjects of “The prince”. The film clearly shows, who the abuse stems from and who suffers from it, nonetheless it is not told in the typical victim-perpetrator pattern.
