Short Long Journey

In April 1945, Vojtech Gál was murdered during a death march from Sachsenhausen to Schwerin. In April 2008, Gál's son set off along the same route. It was an effort to find his father's grave and to leave a testimony. On the way, questions sprung up that couldn't be answered, problems arose that couldn't be solved, and events occurred that revealed the perils inherent in the present.

This film is part of an extensive multimedia project that also includes an online presentation, a book, and concerts.
