Since the mid-Nineties, Jay-Z has become one of the most influential figures of hip hop music. He has released an incredible amount of hit singles and successful albums, including “Can't Knock the Hustle”, “Hard Knock Life”, and “99 Problems”.

His 1996 debut album "Reasonable Doubt" is considered one of the best hip hop albums of all times and is on Rolling Stone magazine's Top 500 Album list. This album was harder, less polished and not so strongly pop oriented than his later releases. It announced to the world that a new star was arising within the rap scene.
