Recovery

Recovery

Psychological illness can destroy the delicate balance that holds a life together. Being admitted to a psychiatric ward is often the last resort for people who have no other option. But is there life after a stay in the hospital? Definitely! Is it possible to recover from depression, panic attacks, and schizophrenic illness? Yes, it is. The film RECOVERY is dedicated to four people who recount their experiences with mental illness, and give insights into their struggle to return to a meaningful life. These four people, all of whom have an inspiring and positive outlook on life, describe their courageous strategies for overcoming some of life's most difficult challenges.

The story of her illness began with a wrong diagnosis. After many years of living with anxiety, she finally began to feel more sure of herself. She also started to work again.
