Looking down at my feet  (highly advisable in Berlin, where dogs have undisciplined owners…) I noticed that the heavy rains had sprouted a bouquet of vevelty mushroom - right tight against the crumbly brick wall - with some lush dandylions as next door neighbors.

Berlin in the summer - the air warmed by the day’s sun and fragrant with the perfume of countless blossoms. And sunsets after 10 pm!  Berlin - laguna on the Spree at Treptower Park.

How fitting that, just then, something colorful against the dark brown earth caught my eye. A small stack of pulp magazines wrapped together with a “motz” magazine. Hmmm, this was ‘otherworldly’ indeed - and definitely from a different era.
