Becoming Otto - A Portrait of Otto Muehl
From his painting to his material actions of the 1960s, from practiced Actionism in the basements of Vienna to the commune he started at Friedrichshof (a state within a state that counted up to 600 members) Otto Muehl's excesses, both in his artwork and lifestyle, brought him notoriety and fame. He is one of the art world's most controversial figures - not least of which was due to his sentence and imprisonment for child abuse in 1991.
