Tambogrande: Remembering Godofredo García Baca
Anyone who has watched the realeyz.tv film Tambogrande will remember Godofredo García Baca. He was the 65 year old mango and lemon grower who acted as a voice for the residentsin a small town in northern Peru. He articulated the demands of the people, analyzed the situations they were facing and implemented strategies to further the rights of his fellow citizens. He was an eloquent and powerful speaker, a role model of enormous physical presence who could not be intimidated. (more…)

New Film Partner FDCL - The Center for Research and Documentation Chile-Latin America

realeyz.tv is pleased to announce its cooperation with the The Center for Research and Documentation Chile-Latin America e.V. (FDCL). The FDCL is our partner for the films Tambogrande and Choropampa. From today on, you’ll find background information, news and commentary posted here on a regular basis by the FDCL.
The FDCL is an information and communication center for people and groups who want to learn more about Latin America or get involved with Latin America-related issues. The FDCL has been in existence since 1974 and is well-known far beyond the borders of Berlin. The online streams are available at all times and are accessible from almost anywhere, they are a valuable tool for campaigns and for informing the public about the problems facing Peru.
